Yarmolyuk becomes the eleventh debutant of the Ukraine national team under Rebrov.


In the first match of the Nations League playoffs, where the Ukraine national team defeated Belgium (3:1), midfielder Egor Yarmolyuk from the English club 'Brentford' made his debut for the national team. This is reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the UAF.
Yarmolyuk came on as a substitute in the 62nd minute for the injured Oleksiy Sych and became the 11th debutant for the blue and yellows in 24 matches under the management of Serhiy Rebrov.

This result, along with Ukraine's victory of 3:1 in the first match, means that Belgium, having a total score of 4:3, earned the right to participate in the elite division A of the Nations League, while Ukraine remains in division B.
In the first half, both teams displayed cautious play, ending it without goals. However, in the second half, the Belgians became more active: in the 70th minute, Maxim de Keyper opened the scoring, and Romelu Lukaku scored twice - in the 76th and 86th minutes, setting the final result at 3:0.
The Ukrainian team remains in League B, while the Belgian national team is in League A.
