The Rasmus in Ukraine

The cult rock band The Rasmus visited Kyiv on Friday, July 18. During their trip, the musicians went to the 'Okhmatdyt' children's hospital, the Memorial to the Fallen in the center of the capital, and they recalled spending a night in a military shelter due to a Russian attack.

The lead singer of The Rasmus shared his impressions of the situation: 'We were in the shelter. I am exhausted after two days, and this is your daily life; you live like this for 1242 days.'

'The Rasmus were supposed to come to Ukraine back in 2022, but the Russian invasion prevented that. The band promised to perform after the war, but they managed to do it earlier.'

The musicians also joined the charity initiative of the Atlas Festival, which raises funds for children's hospitals along with the Good Donations fund. Currently, funds are being collected for equipment for 'Okhmatdyt'.

This case further confirms the support of famous musicians for Ukraine amid Russian aggression. Solidarity and support help the country not to feel alone in its struggle.
