To have the most beautiful roses in your garden, you need to not only take care of them but also choose the right 'neighbors'. Experienced gardeners give advice on which plants to avoid near these flowers.
In particular, it is undesirable to plant lilacs, snapdragons, vegetables (peppers, potatoes, tomatoes), hollyhocks, anthemis, mint, ipomea, and meadow veronica near roses.
These plants can compete with roses for water, carry diseases and pests, which can negatively affect their development. Therefore, maintaining the right companionship in the garden will help roses to flourish even brighter and more beautifully.
